WHO WE ARE?

We are a partnership of LAGs and local development experts.

We have a very long experience in the fields of rural development and community programming, especially with reference to the Leader+ approach.

OUR HISTORY

We are born as an international cooperation project within the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (FEARS).

We started this project with the aim of disseminating good practices relating to the use of European funds for rural development and the aim of facilitating the relationship and meeting between institutions and local development professionals.

Work package 1 concerns the management of the project, the definition of the activities to be implemented and the assignment of roles and responsibilities to the partners, as well as the organization of the kick-off meetings and three other meetings.

Platform and web based video
Work package 2 concerns the development of a project video to be disseminated on social media and the development of a web platform which, including a public and a private area, acts as a repository of good practices and as a search engine for potential partners.

Database
Work package 3 concerns the creation of a database of potential project partners (LAG, institutions, companies, consultants) based on a standard information model. The collected data will then have to flow into the WP2 platform.

Work Package #4.1
Research on the consultation procedures and Methodological manual
Work package 4.1 concerns the drafting of a methodological consultation manual based on two sustainability mechanisms: one from the bottom to put expert partners in contact with the partnerships and one from the top through the study and research of all the contact mechanisms , sharing and consultation between the regional realities.

Workshop (Razlog)
Work package 4.2 concerns a seminar on consultation procedures whose objective is to discuss the research results with the main interested parties: representatives of the economic/commercial sector, manufacturing companies, tourism companies, non-profits, and representatives of the local government.

Work Package #5.1
Research on the Best Practice
Work package 5.1 concerns the research and analysis of best practices relating to the development of local production chains and the management and enhancement of environmental and natural resources. The goal is to select the best practices to be subsequently adopted for the realization of two innovative projects in Italy and Bulgaria.

E-book and Workshop (Italy)
The work package 5.2 concerns a workshop on the best and good practices selected with the WP 5.1. The seminar was an opportunity for discussion between the various public-private actors on the elements that characterize and have determined the success of the good practices.

Innovative Projects
